Organized in 1999, Chambliss Engineering is a civil engineering firm providing services to water and sewer systems, local governments, and real estate developers in Alabama.
Experience includes water distribution mains, water treatment, supply wells, and storage tanks projects as well as sewer collection, lift stations, force mains, and trunk line projects. Additionally, we are actively involved in system mapping, hydraulic modeling and analysis of existing water systems.
Chambliss Engineering provides services in the areas of storm water drainage, civil/site design, land development, roadway design, and bridges.
Projects have ranged in size from $5,000 to $2,500,000 in construction values. CE manages projects from the conceptual stage through preliminary design, final design, bidding and negotiation, contract execution, construction management, and start up.
Funding sources have included tax exempt bond issues, conventional bank loans, Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), State and Tribal Assistance Grants (STAG), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
